How To: What if the child will have disabilities?
Many of the justifications for abortions start with pro-life ambassadors challenging abortion advocates to consider the lives of pre-born children, yet when abortion advocates attempt to defend abortion seemingly out of compassion for pre-born children when parents are given a difficult pre-natal diagnosis, pro-lifers can feel as though the tables have been turned, and that they are now the ones not caring “enough” for pre-born children.
In today’s episode, Cam explores considerations around approaching these conversations, talks about a few common arguments that should actually be avoided, before talking about how common ground, analogies, and questions can and should be applied to help those we are speaking with understand that even in these situations, our compassion for a child can never lead us towards directly and intentionally ending their life.
